Job Title: Operations Assistant

About The Golfer’s Journal:
The Golfer’s Journal is a leading publication dedicated to the rich culture, history, and personalities within the world of golf. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team. This individual will be crucial in managing e-commerce product listings, executing email marketing campaigns, analyzing metrics, producing event summaries, and providing on-site event support.
Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
E-commerce
- Develop and manage e-commerce product listings
- Create and execute email marketing campaigns
- Product inventory management
Circulation:
- Manage circulation processes and generate reports
- Analyze and report on e-commerce metrics
Communications:
- Produce summaries and recap presentations for event hosts and sponsor activities
Event Support:
- Manage events lotteries and waitlists
- Provide support on-site at events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing or communications, preferably within the publishing, media, or sports industries.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for persuasive copywriting.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms, CRM software, and digital analytics tools.
- Ability to analyze data, derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinker with a passion for golf and storytelling.
