Introducing The Broken Tee Society

The Golfer's Journal Members now have exclusive access to our online community

Since its inception, The Golfer’s Journal has endeavored to bring golfers together through a shared love of the game. When photos of broken tees appeared on social media shortly after our first issue launch with the hashtag “#brokenteesociety,” I quickly realized this community was going to take on a life of its own.

Attending our events over the past few years has reinforced my belief that there is simply nothing like our community in, or outside of golf. With that in mind, we’ve been working on building a suite of features that can bring together our global community.

I’m incredibly excited to offer you, valued Member, exclusive access to our online community. Our private Discord server will be a place for our community to connect, collaborate, share ideas, forge friendships, host one another at our clubs and courses, and hopefully have a meaningful impact on the game we all love.

In addition to a broad range of topical channels and regional chapters and groups, this space gives us the opportunity to host live podcast recordings, roundtable discussions, seminars and member hangouts. Ultimately, however, the programming and the direction of the community is up to you. We’ll be there providing an inside track to all things TGJ including exclusive features, giveaways, partner offers, impromptu event popups, advance pre-sale on merch and events, and a whole lot more.

Beyond the obvious utility of connecting the membership, I also have far loftier hopes for the community: I’ve been fortunate to meet and get to know many of you over the years and it’s not an exaggeration to say that the Broken Tee Society is made up of some of the most successful, forward thinking, and passionate people in golf. Our “clubhouse in the clouds” will be a place where our immense collective potential can affect and influence the future of the game; a place to connect, collaborate, share ideas and stories, and hopefully produce something greater than the sum of our parts.

Of course, we’ll have a great time, too.

We’ll be in touch soon about a live kickoff event, but in the meantime I invite you to take advantage of and enjoy this powerful new member benefit. It’s completely free, and I, along with the entire TGJ crew of writers, editors, photographers, artists, industry leaders and athletes, will be active and engaged in the community too. I can’t wait to spend time with you there.

Let’s see where we can take this.

With gratitude,
Brendon Thomas
