The Olympic Club’s Lake Course in San Francisco, CA has played host to five U.S. Opens, one U.S. Women’s Open and, in 2024, The Golfer’s Journal’s Broken Tee 2-Man event. While there, TGJ’s Event Chairman Foster McCune took a sunset spin around the newly restored (Gil Hanse) top-100 course and quickly learned why this iconic venue has tested the game’s best for over a century.
