Aronimink Golf Club

October 14, 2024 | Newtown Square, PA

JOIN THE WAITLIST

A Main Line MainstayAmong Philadelphia’s elite golf establishments, you won’t find one with a stronger pedigree than Aronimink Golf Club. Its founding members allied with those at Merion, Philly Cricket and Philadelphia Country Club to found the now-vaunted GAP (Golf Association of Philadelphia), the nation’s first sectional golf association. After moving 15 miles west of the city, the club brought in Donald Ross, who built one of his most ingenious and challenging layouts in Newtown Square. A recent Gil Hanse renovation has the course playing just as Ross intended, and its cavernous bunkers and wicked greens continue to test the best from both the men’s and women’s game. We were lucky enough to get the invite this year, and couldn’t dream of passing it up. Before the 2026 PGA Championship, Premium Members are invited to take a spin around this Philly heavyweight.
