April in Augusta: Where else would you rather be? We’re taking a group of 20 TGJ Members to Champions Retreat for an all-inclusive, day & night experience worthy of missing some Thursday coverage.
Just 25 minutes from Magnolia Lane sits Champions Retreat Golf Club, host of the first round of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. It features 27 gorgeous holes, broken into three quietly-kept nines and a handful of cottages. Each Masters week, it plays host to an annual under-the-lights range party complete with live music, drinks and weekend ticket holders from around the world. And this year, we’re invited.

Legend has it that Jack, Arnie and Gary sat down at the 1999 Champions Dinner at the Masters and drew lots to see who would get to select which piece of land to design the three nines at the Champions Retreat. The club’s ties to the major championship up the street run deep.
Perhaps the only thing more well-known than this private club’s commitment to an unrivaled level of hospitality is its exclusive annual Masters bash, and TGJ has secured 20 spots this year.
Your day will begin with 18 holes split between the Bluff and Island courses, and include all-you-can-eat meals and all-you-can-drink bar tabs. And that’s just the beginning. Next is the Champions Retreat’s famous night range concert that runs every night during Masters week. Enjoy cigars, drinks, music and as many golf balls as you want to hit alongside your fellow Broken Tee Society Members!

In the event you need to cancel, please email Events@golfersjournal.com. You will be refunded the full amount less processing fees up until March 24. Refunds after March 24, 2022 will not be accepted by Champions Retreat.
