The Golfer’s Journal is pleased to invite you to
Chechessee Creek Club
October 28, 2024 | Okatie, SC
ENTER THE LOTTERY 7/24
Lowkey Special
Back in 2000, when seemingly every designer in the country was pushing courses as far past 7,000 yards as possible, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw had a different idea for Chechessee. Instead, they built a cozy shotmakers paradise in South Carolina’s lowcountry, where players have to shape shots around live oaks to a devilish set of greens shaped by Mother Nature. Regarded as one of the finest routings in the region, Chechessee is also built to be a world-class hang, from the easy 6,700-yard walk to the clubhouse known for its legendary gatherings. Broken Tee Society members will loop it twice, then kick back on the patio with an infamous Chechessee Creek Tea.
