Before we rolled out of Amish country after last year’s event, we knew a return trip was necessary. So here we go: Another 36-hole day awaits at this William Flynn masterpiece, whose diabolical greens will test the best in the world at the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open.

Every list of the game’s greatest architects includes Alister MacKenzie, Donald Ross, and C. B. Macdonald. And any list not including William Flynn should be disregarded. While perhaps not as celebrated as the others, Flynn’s designs at Shinnecock Hills, Cherry Hills, Kittansett, The Country Club and Lancaster put him in the pantheon of all-time greats.

How many spots can I purchase?
Members are permitted to request to purchase one foursome each.
Does my guest have to be a member?
Yes, all guests must be active TGJ members. The best way to bring a non-member guest is to gift them a TGJ membership.
Yes, you will be paired with another BTS member at random.
The format is two-person better ball, net and gross. One low score per team will be counted per hole.
In the afternoon, we will play the course from a new set of tees in an optional skins game ($20 cash) that will pay out both the Net & Gross divisions.
Can I request to be paired with another twosome?
If you have another person or team you’d like to be grouped with, please submit the request on the Guest Details form on the Players Room following your purchase.
Are there handicap / skill requirements?
Players of all skillsets and handicaps are welcome to register. We only ask you are respectful, have fun and keep up with the group ahead of you.
There will be double-bogey max scoring in place.
Following completing registration you can request a caddie in the Players Room on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
Can I schedule a practice round?
Lancaster Country Club is a private club so all practice rounds must go through a LCC member.
What is the cancellation policy?
In the event you have questions or need to cancel, please email Events@golfersjournal.com. You will be refunded the full amount minus processing fees before May 12, 2023. No refunds will be given after May 12. Replacements will be accepted within the cutoff date.
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and payment plans through Affirm.
REGISTRATION RULES
- You must be a TGJ member to sign up for The Showcase @ Lancaster.
- Members can place reservation requests from 2/28 at 9 a.m. ET to 3/1 at 9 a.m. ET.
- You may request up to four spots, but all guests must be active TGJ members.
- Singles are encouraged to place reservation requests. Singles will be randomly paired with groups.
- Submitting more than one request will not increase your chances of being chosen. Duplicates will be removed.
- Entries must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the notification email to avoid forfeiting your position in the event.
