Most golfers along the East Coast can’t hit a long iron without stumbling across a Donald Ross design. Not so in Minnesota, where the celebrated architect worked on only a few courses. Interlachen, Minikahda and White Bear Yacht Club highlight his offerings, but the intrepid traveler is rewarded for pushing northward with one of his most underappreciated designs.

FAQs
How many spots can I purchase?
Members are permitted to request to purchase one foursome each.
Does my guest have to be a member?
Yes, all guests must be active TGJ members. The best way to bring a non-member guest is to gift them a TGJ membership.
Yes, you will be paired with another BTS member at random.
The format is two-person better ball, net and gross. One low score per team will be counted per hole. Teams may not win both gross and net categories. In the event they do, gross scores will take priority.
In the afternoon, we will play the course from a new set of tees in an optional skins game ($20 cash) that will pay out both the Net & Gross divisions.
Can I request to be paired with another twosome?
If you have another person or team you’d like to be grouped with, please submit the request on the Guest Details form on the Players Room following your purchase.
Are there handicap / skill requirements?
Players of all skillsets and handicaps are welcome to register. We only ask you are respectful, have fun and keep up with the group ahead of you.
There will be double-bogey max scoring in place.
Can I schedule a practice round?
Northland is a private club and requires member sponsored play the day before the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
In the event you have questions or need to cancel, please email Events@golfersjournal.com. You will be refunded the full amount minus processing fees before July 13, 2023. No refunds will be given after July 13. Replacements will be accepted within the cutoff date.
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and payment plans through Affirm.
