We’re teaming up with Youth on Course for an unforgettable start to our 2023 events season. Join us at Poppy Hills for a day of great food, better golf, and Broken Tee Society fellowship—all to benefit a worthy cause.

Youth on Course
The Northern California Golf Association operates Poppy Hills and allows every Youth on Course member to play the course for just $5 per round.
Proceeds from this event’s registration fees will go directly to Youth on Course and will pay for more than 2,000 rounds of junior golf. Those who wish to add a donation may do so using the portal below.

How many spots can I purchase?
Members are permitted to purchase up to eight spots.
Does my guest have to be a member?
No, not all guests must be active TGJ members. But don’t forget to utilize your referral code to get your non-member signed up for TGJ.
How can I make an additional donation?
There is a portal on this page above. Similarly, there will be TGJ staff collecting donations during check-in for this event. 100% of that amount will go directly to Youth on Course!
Yes, you will be paired with another single at random.
4-person teams. Your score will be a combination of one low net and one low gross score per hole.
What happens if it sells out before I register?
If the event is sold out before you register, you can enter the waitlist found on this page. Waitlisted members will be chosen at random, when registered members withdraw.
Can I request to be paired with another twosome?
If you have another person or team you’d like to be grouped with, please submit the request on the Guest Details form on the Players Room following your purchase.
Are there handicap / skill requirements?
Players of all skillsets and handicaps are welcome to register. We only ask you are respectful, have fun and keep up with the group ahead of you.
There will be double-bogey max scoring in place.
There will be no caddies available at this event.
Can I schedule a practice round?
Practice rounds can be purchased for a rate of $300 per player.
What is the cancellation policy?
In the event you need to cancel, please email Events@golfersjournal.com as soon as possible so we can notify the next member on the waitlist. You will be refunded the full amount less processing fees. The Golfer’s Journal will not accept cancellations within one week of the event’s commencement.
Within one week, The Golfer’s Journal will still accept replacement players given the participant rescinding their spot makes Foster aware of the replacement’s information.
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and payment plans through Affirm.
