Itinerary
July 13
The Island Golf Club
Let’s start this off with a bang. After landing in Dublin, our driver will whisk us off to The Island Golf Club and some of the highest dunes on Ireland’s East Coast. Bordered on three sides by the sea, The Island Club is a perfect introduction to the trip. That evening, we’ll head back into Dublin and stay at the five-star Dylan Hotel.
July 14
Portmarnock Golf Club
Host of the 1991 Walker Cup, 19 Irish Opens and home of one of Padraig Harrington’s favorite golf holes, Portmarnock should be on everyone’s bucket list. After a day on one of the world’s legendary links, we’ll head back into Dublin for another night at the Dylan.
July 15
Royal County Down
Pick whatever ranking you like, and you won’t scroll down very far until you find Royal County Down. Universally regarded as one of the world’s best, RCD’s rugged terrain, blind shots and staggering bunkers make for an unforgettable experience. After our round, we’ll stay at the Ten Square Hotel in Belfast City, a hotel that lives up to RCD’s standard of excellence.
July 16
Ardglass Golf Club
In the shadow of a castle dating back to the 1400s, Ardglass Golf Club must be seen to be believed. Hugging the coastal cliffs, the Irish Sea can be seen from all 18 tees and greens. And if the wind is up, the test of golf will be more memorable than the scenery. From there it’s back to the Ten Square for another night of luxury.
July 17
The Open Championship
Welcome to the 153rd Open Championship. Site of Irish hero Shane Lowry’s dramatic victory in 2019, Royal Portrush is a worthy stage for the world’s best. A fully inclusive corporate hospitality experience awaits, where we will spend a full day soaking in the tradition of the opening day of the oldest major.
July 18
Baltray Golf Club
Founded in 1892, County Louth Golf Club, also known as Baltray, is former Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley’s favorite links. And it’s a perfect way to close our tour of classic Irish courses. Lowry made some history here as well, winning the 2009 Irish Open as an amateur. Enjoy your pints and hugs afterward, as this will be our final night.
July 19
Dublin Airport
It’s time to say our goodbyes and head for home. We’ll be exhausted, but wishing for just one more day on the links.
