A Dream Realized
Most PGA Tour players are content to pile up made cuts and take whatever they can from the game. Then there’s Zac Blair. He’s the founder of The Tree Farm, a Tom Doak and Kye Goalby creation outside Aiken, SC, that combines the width and playability of Golden Age clubs with a low-key, buddies-trip ethos. Blair laid the groundwork for his dream club through years of following his passion for great golf: Between Tour events, he saw most of the world’s best courses and collaborated with top architects. Eventually, Blair found his Aiken site, secured Doak’s services and the dream became a reality. Now, barely a year after opening, The Tree Farm stands ready to welcome the Broken Tee Society. Enter the lottery, and yours may just be the latest chapter in this storybook tale.
