TGJ Senior Editor Tom Coyne is inviting 108 of his closest friends to his home club for an all-day end-of-summer bash. Head out on the Main Line for a day full of exceptional greens, testing approaches, long views and a few hometown surprises.

A Philly Facelift
George Fazio laid out Waynesborough in 1965, and put his teenage son Tom on dozer duty—the first project in a long and storied career. After hosting the Pennsylvania Classic in 2000 (a year in which WCC’s 10th played as the hardest hole on Tour), Waynesborough has transitioned into a club that’s serious about its golf, but doesn’t take itself too seriously. A recent Andrew Green restoration swapped trees for acres of sand and rolling hills, and the club stands ready to welcome the Broken Tee Society.

How many spots can I purchase?
Members are permitted to request to purchase one foursome each.
Does my guest have to be a member?
No, your guest does not have to be active TGJ member.
Yes, you will be paired with another BTS member at random.
The format is two-person better ball, net and gross. One low score per team will be counted per hole.
In the afternoon, we will play an optional skins game ($20 cash) that will pay out both the Net & Gross divisions.
Can I request to be paired with another twosome?
If you have another person or team you’d like to be grouped with, please submit the request on the Guest Details form on the Players Room following your purchase.
Are there handicap / skill requirements?
Players of all skillsets and handicaps are welcome to register. We only ask you are respectful, have fun and keep up with the group ahead of you.
There will be double-bogey max scoring in place.
Can I schedule a practice round?
Waynesborough is a private club, but there will be a limited amount of member sponsored spots the day before the event.
What is the cancellation policy?
In the event you have questions or need to cancel, please email Events@golfersjournal.com. You will be refunded the full amount minus processing fees before August 18, 2023. No refunds will be given after August 18. Replacements will be accepted within the cutoff date.
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and payment plans through Affirm.
