A Desert OasisArizona’s golf scene is legendary, and the Broken Tee Society is long overdue for its maiden voyage. The desert drought ends this spring, when we roll into Scottsdale and set up camp at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, home to two spectacular courses and a social scene to match. Our adventure begins Masters Sunday, where we’ll enjoy a private watch party with included food and drink at the resort’s on-site sportsbook. That evening, a night golf experience at the short game area serves as an appetizer for the main event: 36 holes on Monday across both the Cholla and Saguaro, whose Coore-Crenshaw design is lauded as the best public layout in the state. Pack your shades and join us in the desert—this will be one Masters weekend where Monday might just outdo Sunday.

Registration Rules
- You must be a TGJ member to sign up for We-Ko-Pa.
- Members can place reservation requests from January 8 at 9 a.m. ET to January 23 at 9 a.m. ET.
- You may request up to four spots.
- Singles are encouraged to place reservation requests.
- Submitting more than one request will not increase your chances of being chosen. Duplicates will be removed.
- Entries must be paid within 24 hours of receiving the notification email to avoid forfeiting your position in the event.

How many spots can I purchase?
You may purchase up to four spots.
If I’m not selected initially, how I do I know where I stand on the waitlist?
A waitlist will be randomly drawn following the initial drawing.
Does my guest have to be a member?
Yes, all guests must be active Premium members. The best way to bring a non-member guest is to gift them a Premium membership.
Yes, almost 50% of event attendees are singles. Bring a friend or come make some new ones. Otherwise, you will be paired with another BTS member at random.
Can I request to be paired with another twosome?
If you have another person or team you’d like to be grouped with, please submit the request on the Guest Details form on the Players Room following your purchase.
Are there handicap / skill requirements?
Players of all skillsets and handicaps are welcome to register. We only ask you are respectful, have fun and keep up with the group ahead of you.
There will be double-bogey max scoring in place.
We require a GHIN or other accredited handicap to participate in the NET division.
What is the cancellation policy?
Pricing is per person. Refunds will be processed once the spot is filled, minus a 5% processing fee. Please email events@golfersjournal.com to request a refund.
Reservation requests: how they work.
There will be a finite number of spots available for TGJ members in given event. Members can place reservation requests in the allotted time given. During the registration request process, members can simply follow the instructions on screen by selecting the number of guests in their party and entering their information.
Members must be logged in to their account on golfersjournal.com in order to place a request.
The field will be decided via random drawing and those selected will be notified via email or text.
Selected members will have 24 hours from being notified to complete their registration by paying. Failing to pay or notify us will result in loss of spot. All members not selected will automatically be added to the waitlist. Once someone fails to pay, or declines the selection, we will continue to select members at random until the field is filled. There is no order of the waitlist.
Airfare and hotels are not included in the price.
There will be a separate email to help you book hotel rooms at the resort.
